For seminal contributions to our understanding of the fundamental role of non-coding miRNAs to the regulation of endothelial cell and macrophage functions, and cholesterol homeostasis. Her research provides novel mechanistic and therapeutic insights for the regulation of inflammation and angiogenesis in tumor progression and immunometabolic disorders such as atherosclerosis.
